Delcam will demonstrate the latest versions of its PowerMILL and FeatureCAM milling software on booth 5022-5024 during the PRI show to be held at the Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, from 6th to 8th December. These two programs give Delcam the unrivalled ability to provide solutions to racing companies looking for programming systems for mills, mill/turn machines, lathes or wire EDM equipment.

In addition, Delcam will show its leading hardware-independent inspection software, PowerINSPECT. With these programs, Delcam is uniquely placed to help companies to improve efficiencies while gaining the extra edge they need in the ultra-competitive performance racing industry.

The latest release of PowerMILL, the world's leading specialist CAM system for complex five-axis and high-speed machining operations, includes new and improved functionality for roughing and finishing with both three-axis and five-axis machines. The enhancements include a wider range of five-axis strategies for both roughing and finishing, including automated methods to generate the roughing and finishing toolpaths for machining engine ports.

FeatureCAM, the industry-leading feature-based machining software, has seen major enhancements to the software's automatic feature recognition functionality and improvements to its range of D machining strategies to help improve calculation speeds and surface finish. Other new options include 5-axis trimming, swarf machining and 5-axis drilling. In addition, creation and editing of toolpaths has been made quicker, easier and more flexible.

The new version of PowerINSPECT offers improved ease of use, support for multi-axis On-Machine Verification and compatibility with the AIMS Metrology System. PowerINSPECT is already the world's most popular hardware-independent inspection software and is used by both NASCAR and the FIA to check competitor conformity. The new release is set to consolidate this leading position.

Delcam software will feature on two other booths at the Show. PowerMILL programs will be used to machine a stock car model on the DMG booth (5025).
